What could be more fun than to go on a (picnic🤭) business trip to a motor show with your team on your workday Friday? We had so much fun exploring the latest and greatest of what the mobility industry could offer here @seoulmobilityshow 2025. It was so nice to see many new concepts and production vehicles boasting a plethora of new ideas as well as unconventional mobility solutions such as @robros humanoid and the clever @mule_by_kliodesign on display. But the best part was to appreciate and take in what so many talented people poured their heart and sweat in while sharing each person’s point of view on them.

🎉Our highlight was the Insteroid concept by @hyundaimotorgroup.official @hyundaidesigncommunity which just looks like designers had free rein except that they had to work with the original car underneath, which we think was a good constraint as it already has so much character - they managed to awake the funky inner man of the Inster. What was your favourite car at the show?

Last Thursday and Friday we had a blast @open.designlab a refreshingly open platform for collaboration, sponsored by Hyundai Motor Group and nestled in one of the hippest parts of Seoul: the Seongsu area.🎉

Professor Park @hyunjoon333.aa shared how we at Move Lab are not only anticipating but actively sharping the future of mobility while renovating the design process with the help of generative AI.

We had the chance to witness innovative yet heart-warming new mobility concepts like the Nano Pbv and the Robotic Space concepts as well as the ImageN generative AI software- already proving to be very powerful.

On February 5, at the 2025 F/W Seoul Fashion Week by designer @hannahshin.official at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, our latest design innovation, the WalkON Suit F1 prototype had the incredible opportunity to be presented on the runway. Developed in collaboration with @kaist_exolab (led by Professor Kyungchul Kong at KAIST) and @angelrobotics_official, the WalkON Suit F1 is a wearable robotic exoskeleton designed to support individuals with lower-body paralysis, enabling natural, independent movement, which won a Gold medal at the Cybathlon 2024.

Move Lab led the design of the robot, ensuring that this cutting-edge assistive technology seamlessly and proudly reflects the user as our everyday superhero - not far from the aesthetic statements made by the fashion industry.

The opening show was a powerful testament to how robotics and design can reshape human expression and accessibility. We’re excited to keep pushing the boundaries and bridging the gap between innovation and everyday life.
