Education and research go hand in hand at KAIST ID.
Graduate students take part in the real-world research projects in the lab they are part of, undergraduate students learn a breadth of latest topics in Industrial Design, provided by professors with a variety of expertises.. We take pride in fostering future design leaders by creating an environment where students are nurtured and challenged to ask different questions about the future of and provide the answers in many different forms themselves.

Move lab's vision is to equip aspiring mobility designers,  researchers and innovators who will not only join the current industry but also shape it with both world-class skills and mindset. Taking on extraordinary projects with world-class partners, we provide opportunities for our graduate students to learn hard skills to produce great mobility design,  soft skills of communication, teamwork, the intellectual capacity to draw real insight from deep research, and what many miss, the humility and resilience, developed by consistently taking extreme ownership.

This effort cascades down to our undergraduate education where we let them get the taste of what it means to delivering human-centred mobility design for a birghter future. Below are the courses we provide
