How can we partner with AI to deliver a stunning, innovative mobility design solutions? With current speed of development of AI tools and agents one course wouldn’t be enough to get our students master designing future mobility solutions with AI.

However, this course aims to equip our students the fundamentals of how to start this journey and to thoroughly enjoy various aspects of it by tackling hands-on projects. It explores human-centred mobility design in the AI era, focusing on how to strategically integrate AI tools into research, ideation, development, and storytelling.

Students will learn to use AI to refine and upgrade processes and outcomes, achieving results that were previously out of reach. The course emphasizes that AI does not replace the skills of a good designer; strong fundamentals in design remain essential to guide AI toward meaningful and original work.

The course is designed for self-initiated and hands-on learning. It consists of five parts : lectures, discussions, demonstrations, explorations and projects, through which students will have opportunities to achieve more than the script itself.

With this year's cohort we worked on one group project, one individual project and producing a AI pipeline. Here we introduce selected projects from the Fall 2025 semester.
