Education and research go hand in hand at Industrial Design department at KAIST. By placing graduate students in labs run by professors they take part in the real-world researches while producing world-class outcomes in papers or design projects. In this way the latest research topics in each professor’s laboratory cascade down to both the graduate and undergraduate classrooms. We take pride in fostering future design leaders by creating an environment where students are nurtured to take in a breadth of different disciplines across design, art, science and technology while developing their own field of expertise.
